Disha: Our Founder and Inspiration
A passionate runner, recreational hiker, and a certified yoga instructor, Disha makes the most of every opportunity to retreat into nature and bask in its many healing properties. It is her mission to inspire millennials and the forthcoming generations to lead balanced lives, care for their physical and mental health, achieve their fitness goals, and make nature an integral part of their daily routine.
On pursuing a course in Hatha Yoga from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in 2016 and earning a diploma in Nutrition & Health Sciences later that year, Disha had a clear future vision in mind. She knew she wanted to dedicate her life to helping others achieve their best health. Thus, alongside her full-time job as a Key Account Manager at Allergan India Pvt. Ltd, she started teaching yoga and curating nutrition plans at Padchin Fitness Studio, Indore. Soon after she built up courage to quit her full-time job and embrace practicing holistic wellness as her career. This led her to completing a 200 hour Ashtanga Yoga Course from The Ashtanga Yoga Institute, Mysuru, and a 300 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training from Shriram Yoga Prashikshan Evam Anusandhan Society. To further hone her running skills, she participated in several marathons and races of which she ranked first as a podium finisher at the SBI Green Marathon, Bhopal 21km race in 2019, and second in 2020. Recently in 2020, her team won the Himalayan Adventure Challenge while she was awarded “fastest female athlete.” Today, she is a NAASFP Marathon Running Coach and is enrolled in a course for Sports Nutrition from Precision Nutrition.
Drawn to humble experiences in authentic settings amidst the lap of nature, Disha encourages nature consciousness - to be aware of the powers of nature, and learn how small sustainable acts can help us better our first home: the planet. She is always looking forward to building deep connections, and can’t wait to take you along with her on a journey of self-discovery, good-health, and well-being!
A plant & animal lover, art enthusiast, meditation and yoga buff, Anchal has immersed herself in helping people cope with bad habits and solve life problems which hinder their overall growth.
After pursuing her masters in Economics from University College London, Anchal chose to work in the exciting field of business instead of pursuing research. Bringing in such a drastic shift in her career wasn’t easy but her determination and hard work helped drive her to great heights. She later went on to support brands grow in the education, food & beverage and the digital media industry.
This journey, however, was not without obstacles. In 2014 she was diagnosed with social anxiety and generalized anxiety disorder. Everyday activities seem to have become a challenge for her. She then decided to take help from a mental health expert and started on a journey to free herself from the shackles of anxiety.
This project of self transformation introduced her to the world of Habit Development. She started with creating small goals and turned them into actionable habits while focusing on her growth. Within a year she had eliminated her dependence on medicines to manage her anxiety. Yoga, meditation and breath work also acted as the building blocks helping her achieve a healthier mind and body.
Having seen such a phenomenal change in herself she decided to help others facing similar problems. Her experiences made her realize that with the correct form of support any change is possible. Be it our day to day habits or our whole life.
Why We Exist
A shift in personal experiences and miraculous wellness improvement led to the birth of Health n Vibe, and that is precisely also the result each of our members leave with. Our Founder, Disha, overturned her past where she suffered from chronic illnesses, acidity, fatigue, sleepless nights, overweight, and emotional upheaval, to a present where she is wholly happy, healthy, and content.
Having personally witnessed the shift in her life, Disha decided to do more with her yoga practices and running journey than merely cultivate them as a hobby. Deciding to pursue it as a profession was one of the best decisions she believes to have made. Her knowledge, secrets, and strengths are the pillars of Health n Vibe - a holistic healthcare space that aims to uplift your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
